I am a photographer living in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, who deeply believes in the power of stories. My life has revolved around stories for as long as I can remember - as an actor, then a nonprofit professional, a teacher, and finally now as an artist. In my work I strive to dismantle a culture of transactions and replace it with a culture of generosity and authenticity.
I can peg two things that really propel my work - nature and "the in-between moments." Nature is a common theme throughout my portfolio as well as my life. I always feel inspired shooting outdoors because it reminds me of God's majesty as well as my awe as a child of the world and the many adventures it holds. The other thing I am so easily captured by are moments of normalcy - the things we have seen so often that we forget to experience them. I can see beauty being brought back into moments through photographs - we finally see again the extraordinary in the mundane everyday...
"It is the experiences, the memories, the great triumphant joy of living to the fullest extent in which real meaning is found. God it's great to be alive! Thank you. Thank you."
