Truth be told, I'm MUCH better at celebrating your story than my own, but since you've stumbled onto my page, I'll give it a try! (My apologies in advance for using way too many exclamation points... I'm a millennial people pleaser- what can I say?!)

Anywayyyysss, I am a photographer (HA- if you couldn't already tell) serving Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and the surroundings areas, and there's nothing that gets me more excited than connecting with the people around me, and figuring out how to best represent their stories. My life has revolved around story telling for as long as I can remember - as an actor, then a nonprofit founder, a teacher, and finally now as an artist. In my work I strive to dismantle a culture of transactions and replace it with a culture of generosity and authenticity. (For those that hate the fluffy language-- this business is all about relationships for me.) We'll likely become friends and share tacos or drinks at some point. We'll feel comfortable in each others space, and you'll feel taken care of and rooted for. After your partner, I'm the one you'll be spending the most time with on the big day, and it's so important to me that I blend into the background and feel like a safe (but super fun) presence.

Besides being in your personal space, I love being in hammocks in the woods, ice cream shops, bookstores (reading chapters about true crime, entrepreneurship, education, justice, or all the above), and live concert venues. And while I love each of these places whole heartedly, as well as jet-setting around the world, I believe adventures can only truly be measured by the lessons learned along the way and the people beside you.

Hey there. i'm cHRISTIE,

I started a nonprofit when I was 19 that I still support called 2 Seconds Or Less. Our mission is primarily to bring opportunities in education, agriculture, and entrepreneurship to vulnerable communities in Zimbabwe. Secondarily, it's to build more responsible and thoughtful student leaders in the states in regards to faith based mission work. 2SOL is currently being run by a Zimbabwean couple, and I'm so proud of what we've been able to accomplish together!

I’m highly engaged in rooting for the underdog in all of life’s circumstances. I don’t stand for inequality, and much of my time is spent trying to understand power dynamics that marginalize oppressed people groups and then figuring out my part to help dismantle those structures.

I studied theatre in college and used to enjoy being the center of attention, but in the past 10 years I've definitely become an introvert who needs her alone time. That's me! Introverted INFP, Enneagram 3- UNLESS karaoke comes on. I'm always down for a good karaoke party, and that's the only time you'll willingly see me perform in front of people. (Although if you tip me, I'll also do "the worm" at your wedding.)

I'm a bit of an adrenaline junkie. I've gone skydiving, hang gliding, white water rafting, parasailing...the list goes on! But action isn't the only thing that gets my heart pumping...show me any cute otter video (or really anything that has to do with otters), and I immediately get emotional. I JUST LOVE THOSE DANG LIL' CREATURES SO MUCH.

I can promise that I’ll make you feel like you’re on your first date again. You'll enjoy a sentimental experience that will put you in a moment where you can’t help but appreciate how far you’ve come together.

It’ll also probably make you want to immediately get home so you can jump each other’s bones. And the photos you receive back will make you feel these things all over again.

I get to know you. I understand how you work separately and together. I learn your love languages, how you like to be held, what makes you laugh. I study what truly makes you, you.

Your session is all about connection. I give you prompts and games that help you loosen up, allowing you to enjoy each moment with your partner, and not think about getting your photo taken.

I manage your time and any outside factors; I make sure you can stay focused on each other rather than the schedule, the weather, or anything else that could distract from the moment.

Our sessions are designed around capturing who you already are; we aren't aiming for perfection here. I want the real deal. And you can think of me as your tour guide, psychologist, biggest fan girl with a camera. "BUT HOW, CHRISTIE?!"

While we all love some good natural light, we also love getting creative no matter the weather, time frame, and space constraints. We know how to do killer nighttime portraits, low light getting ready frames, and sparkler exits you'll be pumped to print and hang on your walls.

As someone who is now planning my own wedding, I understand how frustrating it is to not be able to get ahold of your vendors in a timely manner.
