If you’re anything like me, you may have grown up in spaces where the connection of body, mind, and spirit weren’t spoken of, and any conversations around the human body were hush-hush. As I got older, I started to embrace every part of me, for what it has helped me do. I started to realize that this body houses my emotions, my grit, my ambitions, and even the trauma that has helped me grow into the person I am today. It houses strength and agility, and although it’s often easier to pick out everything I hate about it, taking these photos was an act of love towards myself.

I know boudoir can be a vulnerable experience, and I’ve crafted my sessions to give you the safest, most joyful, relaxed and intimate space as possible.
If you’re like 99% of the world, you’ll start off nervous, and I promise within five minutes, you will be feelin’ yo’ bad self, and having an amazing time.
The process will start with an outfit consultation, and we’ll decide together what location would be best for the photos you desire. I do sessions both indoors and outdoors, and something to consider is that indoor spaces may come with a small rental fee. (These fees can be greatly reduced if you book a session with a friend). You’ll also get a guide of tips and tricks that will help put you at ease before the big day. Then, you’ll fill out a survey about what you want to highlight in your photos and any other information I should be aware of to make your session unique and perfect for you. From there, it’s shooting time! We do the session, and you get your photos back in an online gallery, with the option of purchasing heirloom albums, other gifts, and additional digitals.
Between our dance breaks, my in depth posing direction, and a flawless hair and makeup team, you’ll be free to let loose and embrace whatever season you’re in.

First and foremost- you!
A common misconception with boudoir is that they always have to be a gift for a partner, but boudoir is also an awesome way to celebrate yourself! I see a lot of new moms who want to take photos both pre and post baby, engaged folks who want to do them as a surprise wedding present, and people who have recently experienced an exciting life transition. Ultimately, there are so many excuses we will come up with for why this isn’t for us, or why now isn’t a great time, BUT YOU CAN DO THIS! I believe in you and I believe you deserve to TREAT YO’ SELF!
Who are these photos for?
First and foremost, I'm going to pose you in the most flattering ways for your body type. Rest assured that I will highlight the parts that you love most above yourselves and draw attention away from areas that make you self- conscious. However, I want you to remember that this is a growing experience and a great time to step out of your comfort zone! As far as retouching goes, I will remove any major blemishes and do light skin smoothing, but I will not change any permanent part of you! I believe all bodies are beautiful and I won't do any "body slimming," but trust me when I say you'll shine in these photos.
I’m self conscious about x,y,z... (My weight, my acne, my scars, etc.) Will you edit my other blemishes or things I don't like?
Boudoir is definitely an investment and it's good to plan in advance so you can make the most of your experience. Our sessions include studio rentals, linens, hair and makeup, and added products. But on top of that, these prices help cover our regular business expenses, as well as the time we will spend helping you prepare for your session. Furthermore, my prices represent the six years of experience I've had professionally in the field, and the quality of work that I will thus produce for you. It accounts for the education I've studied to help me understand posing for all body types and lighting, and it honors the energy I put into making you feel safe, comfortable, and energized in these vulnerable spaces. An investment in me helps me invest fully in you, and I can promise a luxury experience that you'll never forget.
Why is boudoir so expensive?
Will be photos be online? What is your privacy policy?
YOUR PRIVACY IS MY TOP PRIORITY. While I would love to post your photos on my website and social media, you have full rights to keep your gallery private. When your session is over, you'll receive a password protected gallery that's unlisted to ensure the only people who will see your photos are you (and whoever you choose to share them with). Before your session, I'll have you sign a contract on which level of privacy you'd prefer, and you have the authority to change that decision at any point before, during, or after the process. Again, I take your safety and comfort extremely seriously, and want to serve you through this process.
What is a bridal boudoir party?
I'm so glad you asked!! This is one of my favorite things to do. A bridal boudoir session is a fun addition to any bachelorette party, and can be done in two ways. First, friends can bring lingerie or other outfits for the bride to try on at the party. I will take photos of her posing in each piece, and the end will conclude with 20 minutes in her favorite outfit. If you'd like to include everyone in the shoot, each friend can bring their own outfit and have their own mini-shoot while the rest of the party cheers them on. These times and prices vary depending on the size of the group, and are an extra fun way to celebrate. So pop the champagne and give me a call!
